Charity information

Community Impact Bucks

Our activities to meet our charitable objects fall into three key areas:-
• We work with voluntary & community groups (VCS) and communities to maximise their effectiveness and efficiency (including utilising volunteers) to deliver and develop services to meet and respond to changing needs and ensure that they have a voice in strategic decision making.
• We support the development and delivery of services where unmet need has been established. This can include Community Impact Bucks looking for a solution if no other organisation is willing or able, developing a solution either alone or in partnership and enabling it to become independent.

• We advocate on behalf of the rural, voluntary and community sectors to ensure that our strategic partners are aware of the wider issues impacting on residents and VCS groups, and organisations are kept aware of strategic decisions that could impact on them.
Through these routes we contribute to the development of cohesive communities, bringing people or groups together who have interests in common and enabling individuals to resolve personal barriers to achieve or retain their independence. By providing access to volunteering opportunities we enable individuals to develop new skills and use those they have, which can improve well-being, increase employability as well as building the capacity and capability of communities and VCS groups / organisations.
