Community Advice and Support Scheme(CASS)

We provide advice, information and practical outreach services for vulnerable. We provide an employment support project helping volunteers and unemployed people to get experience and find work.

Founded 1998

  • Mission statement

    To relieve the inhabitants of the London Borough of Hackney, Islington, Tower Hamlets, and the surrounding area who are in need because of age, a mental or physical disability or poverty in particular but not exclusively by the provision of advice, advocacy and support services.

    We provide advice, information and practical support such as painting and decorating, gardening, minor repairs etc to elderly people, disabled people, those with long term illnesses or other medical conditions. We also provide training and assistance for those who are unemployed and looking for work experience in our sector.

    Community Advice and Support Scheme(CASS) aims to:

    • We aim to help volunteers, unemployed people or those seeking to change career with the work experience and help they may need to find the correct path for them.
    • We aim to help those in need by providing essential services whether these are practical - gardening etc or with information and advice or through befriending and giving them someone to talk to.
