Systems Advocacy Service, are an independent, confidential and free voluntary service that provides an advocacy service for adults with learning disabilities in Flintshire and Denbighshire.

  • Mission statement

    The objects of the Company are to provide advocacy services for the relief of anyone with a learning disability in North Wales.
    Systems Advocacy Service provide a range of independent advocacy
    services to enable our clients to achieve their full potential as part of society
    and to increase the choices open to them and the control they have over their own lives. We provide an Advocacy Service to clients to support them through a particular situation in their lives, which we call ‘Crisis Advocacy’ and we also provide an Advocacy Service to support clients who have ongoing issues in their lives, which we call ‘Ongoing Advocacy’.

  • Aims

    Systems Advocacy Service aims to:

    • We want to extend our advocacy service to cover 'Transition ' when individuals with learning disabilities go onto adult services. Their wishes must be heard to give them control over their futures.
    • We would like to to extend our confidential, independent advocacy service for adults with a learning disability to cover other areas of Wales to enable people to have more control over their lives.
