ABCC are a neighbourhood council working in a deprived wards of Liverpool. ABCC have 15 years of community engagement. Working within the area, with a team of dedicated volunteers.

  • Mission statement

    'Advancing Opportunities for the benefit of the Community', working with over 10 residents groups and organisations that respond to local need. Working to bring about direct change that impacts on peoples lives, working with families/ parents our mission statement is 'Raise the aspirations of the parent and you will raise the attainment of the child'. Our Appreciative Inquiry way of working provides a creative and Imaginative approach to bringing about change. Our imagine Anfield programme is creating a grass roots approach to self empowerment through our 'Imagine Anfield' Programme.

    Anfield Breckside Community Council aims to:

    • Build the capacity of the local community by developing and supporting local residents, champions and partner organisations
    • Provide facilities for the welfare and social activities and creation of leisure time occupation with the aim of improving the conditions for the inhabitants
    • promote and preserve good health and improve life expectancy
    • Promote good citizenship, social inclusion and community cohesion
    • Support family life, work with parents and young people to give them the skills and abilities to improve their life chances.
