In 2016, we mark 35 years of supporting women, young people and children affected by domestic violence (DV), rape and sexual assault. We believe that women and children have the right to live free from violence, abuse and fear. We are a dynamic, responsive and learning organisation that puts the needs of women and children first.

    Birmingham & Solihull Women’s Aid believes that violence against women is a violation of human rights and will work to ensure that women and children have the right to live free from violence, abuse and fear.

    Birmingham & Solihull Women's Aid aims to:

    • To put the needs of women and children first.
    • To provide safe, emergency accommodation for women and children.
    • To raise awareness of the issues that face women and children survivors of abuse.
    • To provide appropriate play opportunities and a safe environment for children in refuge.
    • To provide advice, support and information to women survivors of abuse.
