The Steve Sinnott Foundation was established in 2009 with the aim of promoting education for all & contributing to the global effort towards achieving the Millennium Development Goals for Education.

    The Steve Sinnott Foundation firmly believes that education is at the heart of sustainable development and that primary education is the fundamental right of every child.

    Its mission is to support and promote initiatives that address the need for education in developing countries; to promote exchange of expertise amongst organisations, teachers and activists across the world for the cause of education and to campaign for the achievement of United Nations second Millennium Development Goal of Universal Primary Education.

    Steve Sinnott Foundation aims to:

    • Support key areas of teaching and learning in UK schools through Global Citizenship Education and international school partnerships.
    • Working with local communities & institutions in developing countries on projects that address barriers to quality education.
    • Providing opportunities to small education initiatives from across the world to connect with support networks and volunteers through our website.
