The William Wilberforce Trust aims to confront poverty & injustice and care for those in need.

  • Mission statement

    WWT rescues those in crisis - whether that's homelessness, debt, a cycle of re-offending, or addictions - restores them through its courses and services aimed at the complexity of problems such individuals face and helps them get reintegrated back into society. All with an enabling and equipping of trained and dedicated volunteers.

  • Aims

    The William WilberforceTrust aims to:

    • Catching those in crisis: Homelessness We run a day drop in centre and winter night time shelter in central London
    • Catching those in crisis: Debt We offer an independent debt and money advice service which exists to help anyone suffering under the burden of debt, whatever the cause
    • Catching those in crisis: Re-offending We run 'Caring For Ex-Offenders' - equipping and enabling volunteers in a local parish church to meet the individual at the prison gate and journey with them
    • Catching those in crisis: Addictions We run a 'Recovery from Addictions' course that is based on the 12 step program to help those with any addiction to recover
