Great Yarmouth Community Trust

Great Yarmouth Community Trust is a multi-purpose, neighbourhood based charity. Day to day, concentrating on areas of Great Yarmouth which are in the top quarter of the national deprivation leagues, we empower local people to fulfil their potential by delivering a range of services, eg. Childrens nurseries, Sure Start Children Centres, activities for the vulnerable and elderly, improving employability of adults and the mental and physical wellbeing of local people from birth to old age.

    The vision of the Trsut is that the day to day lives of individuals and families in Gt Yarmouth and the Borough will be full of opportunities that give people a positive future. We work towards achieving this by providing world class services and activities that meet identified local needs and which empower individuals and families in Great Yarmouth and beyond to fulfil their potential.

    Great Yarmouth Community Trust aims to:

    • To support all local people, whatever age, to live within a secure and nurturing home and community ensuring their basic need for secure housing, food and stable relationships is met;
    • To provide local residents, designated services in safe, welcoming venues, to enable them to enjoy the best possible health; and to see and embrace opportunities for their own personal growth
    • To develop their self-confidence and esteem, provide support and links to build healthy relationships in their “family” both personal and community, and activities and training for skills for life.
