S. H. E. Was set up by and for adult women survivors of childhood incest and sexual abuse to promote recovery through mutual support offering a range of activities based on individual needs.

  • Mission statement

    To provide a variety of self-help based support for adult female survivors of childhood sexual abuse over the age of 16 and information to promote public education and awareness.

    SHE aims to relieve the distress of women survivors of childhood incest or sexual abuse, and their families.
    Activities include;
    Drop-ins
    Creative therapy groups
    Personal development groups
    Literacy and numeracy support
    Outreach support
    Fundraising
    Social events/craft activities
    Based in Newark on Trent with outreach in Mansfield, Worksop and Retford.
    More areas to be developed when funding allows.
