    KickStart Ghana is a UK registered charity that aims to ensure that the people of the Volta Region, in Ghana, can fulfil their potential and have every opportunity to succeed. We focus on the promotion of education and physical activity to do this. We use a mixture of grants and volunteers to achieve these aims.

    Volunteers working in Ghana are crucial to the work we do and the projects that we support. We also have many volunteers in the UK who fundraise and support the charity in various roles.

  • Aims

    KickStart Ghana aims to:

    • To advance the education of the pupils in Ho by providing and assisting in the provision of facilities and equipment not required to be provided by the local education authority for education.
    • The prevention or relief of poverty in the Volta Region, Ghana, by providing: grants, items and services to individuals and/or charities in need.
    • The promotion of community participation in healthy recreation for the benefit of the inhabitants of the Volta Region, Ghana, by the provision of facilities for playing football and other sports.
