Uganda Aid Person to Person

Uganda Aid Person to Person is a registered charity which, under the direction of Marlyn Somers and with the help of generous sponsors, aims to develop a community project to complete the building and refurbishment of a school with several classrooms and new boarding and recreational facilities at Bunono the Kabale area of rural south west Uganda.
Uganda Aid Person to Person is committed to providing quality, accessible education and living facilities for local children, many of whom have been orphaned as the result of HIV/Aids. By investing in the school and promoting it as a wider cultural and educational centre, we aim to reaffirm its place at the very heart of the community. As well as hoping to finance the construction of additional teaching facilities, we aim to address the urgent need to house the school’s orphans by building permanent accommodation for them on site. Whilst the charity’s focus remains on supporting and improving the educational mission of the school, the benefits of any such investment will resonate well beyond the confines of the classroom. Uganda Aid Person to Person wishes to support and cement Bunono’s current status as a centre serving the wider needs of the community. With appropriate investment, we will be able to provide or assist with resources and facilities for social, recreational and other leisure time occupations for the people of Kabale.
