We enable local people in needy places to develop and operate excellent heathcare initiatives without fostering dependency.

  • Mission statement

    MAI exists to enable indigenous people of vision and integrity to provide excellent healthcare to disadvantaged people experiencing persecution, violence, poverty or discrimination irresepective of ethnicity, gender or faith.

    Based on Christian values that respect the dignity of individuals and their right to compassionate care, MAI funds ultimately locally sustainable initiatives and mobilises short term volunteer teams to work alongside International Partners in places like Nigeria, Sudan, KwaZulu Natal, Uganda and Sri Lanka.

  • Aims

    Medic Assist International aims to:

    • To enable our Partners to express their Christian commitment to care for all people irrespective of ethnicity, faith or gender.
    • To enable our Partners to transform health outcomes and in particular contribute to the Millennium Development Goals around female and infant mortality and morbidity.
