Sensory Trust connects people with the places around them, making natural environments more accessible and enjoyable for all, regardless of age, disability of background.

  • Mission statement

    The Sensory Trust makes places more accessible, attractive and useful for everyone regardless of age, disability or background. We encourage richer connections between people and place so that people can value and understand their environment. We make places and processes more accessible so that more people can join in. We work with communities so they can contribute to the decisions that affect them and the places where they live.

    We work with developers, architects and landowners in the UK and internationally to integrate social inclusion into the design and development process. Our work spans housing and social spaces, healthcare and residential environments, schools, urban parks, wildlife sites and the wider countryside.
