In addition to operating both RZSS Edinburgh Zoo and RZSS Highland Wildlife Park The Royal Zoological Society of Scotland supports education, research and conservation projects in the UK and around the world.

    The Royal Zoological Society of Scotland is a registered Scottish charity with the mission of connecting people with nature and safeguarding threatened species. As a leading conservation charity, RZSS is dedicated to protecting endangered species through conservation, research and education.

    Through our two sites, Edinburgh Zoo and the Highland Wildlife Park, we care for over 1,000 rare and endangered animals and engage with nearly 750,000 visitors per year. Alongside this, we inspire over 30,000 people per year through our award-winning education and outreach programmes and undertake vital conservation work - not just in Scotland, but in over 20 countries across the world.
