Aintree Volunteers exists to support and engage with the local community by providing employment through a volunteering strategy as well as supporting the patient journey.

  • Mission statement

    Our mission is threefold:
    1. The relief of sickness, in particular but not exclusively, elderly and disabled persons, thier families and carers by the provision of support in the local community.

    2. The preservation and protection of good health of the people of Merseyside by imporving the experience of healthcare during treatment and upon discharge into the community.

    3. To promote any other charitable purposes as the Trustees from time to time determine.

    • Allowing volunteers through their voluntary work to make an informed choice about a future job or career in the NHS as well as providing support to the patient journey.
