Charity information

We advocate for disadvantaged people and groups to make sure their voices are heard. We make sure people have a say in their lives, that their rights are upheld, that people have more choice and control and that people are included in their community. We promote self and peer advocacy and we make sure people are involved in all the projects and in all aspects of the organisation.

Currently most of our clients are people with a learning disability. We have many established and proven projects set up to support the specific and unique needs of our users. These include the UK's first Autism and Asperger's Project, Bromley Primary Care Trust Project, Parents Project, Crisis Advocacy Project, Person Centred Planning Project, Young People's Project, Bromley Disabled Children and Young People's Project, Self Directed Support Project, Advocate 4 Health Project and 5 Speaking Up (Self Advocacy) Groups covering a range of needs and user groups.
