Twin Vision

Twin Vision is an educational, media charity that supports disadvantaged and under represented children and young people through animation, film, photography and new media.

Founded 2002

  • Mission statement

Twin Vision is a registered charity, which aims to develop unique Media Projects to enhance public education, and awareness through the creative media of photography, animation, film and other multi media related arts. Twinning projects provide the opportunity for the development of a reciprocal understanding of the lives and cultures of other people on a local and global level. Twin Vision was born out of an idea that children and young people across the world would be given the chance to connect hearts and minds through photography. The foundations of the project were built in the School for The Deaf, Ajmer, India by twin brothers Paul & Gary McCann, where they taught for 18months on a self funded project before returning to the UK with the body of work created and founding the charity in Liverpool 2002. Twin Vision’s aims are to further advance the solid foundations of this charitable organisation to further promote the integration of cross cultural understanding in communities across the globe. This is achieved by using photography, film, animation and new media as powerful tools of communication and effective vehicles of understanding within workshop scenarios for disabled and non disabled children and young people on a local, national and international scale.
