Voluntary Action Maidstone is a local charity serving people who live in the Borough. Its core services are a Volunteer Centre and Council for Voluntary Service. It has developed a range of projects which were identified by the community.

  • Mission statement

    1) TO PROMOTE ANY CHARITABLE PURPOSES FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE COMMUNITY IN PARTICULAR THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION, THE RELIEF OF POVERTY, SICKNESS AND DISTRESS AND THE PROMOTION OF HEALTH; AND
    (2) TO PROMOTE AND ORGANISE CO-OPERATION IN ACHIEVEMENT OF THE ABOVE PURPOSES AND TO THAT END TO BRING TOGETHER IN COUNCIL REPRESENTATIVES OF THE STATUTORY BODIES AND VOLUNTARY ORGANISATIONS ENGAGED IN THE FURTHERANCE OF THE ABOVE PURPOSES WITHIN THE BOROUGH OF MAIDSTONE.
