Dystonia UK is the only national charity providing support, advocacy and information and for anyone affected by the neurological movement condition known as dystonia. We support through local groups, online webinars, a national young champions programme, Conferences and events and for a condition that can be socially isolating we bring practical advice and support to over 70,000 people in the UK.

    Dystonia is a painful and dibilitating neourological movement disorder which affects over 70,000 people in the UK Men Women and children.

    The Dystonia Society provides practical and emotional support to people living with this neurological condition by providing support and information services both nationally through our Helpline and at local level through our network of branches. It also encourages research to find better treatments for this incurable condition.

    The Dystonia Society UK aims to:

    • Provide Information and support to over 70,000 people with Dystonia
    • Grow awareness among the general public and the medical community regarding the condition
    • Become the leading light for people with the condition to be able to live full and happy lives.
