Integrated Neurological Services (INS)

INS supports people with neurological conditions, eg Parkinson's disease, Multiple Sclerosis, MND or Stroke to remain independent and achieve a better quality of life for them and their carers.

Founded 1999

  • Mission statement

INS aims to enable all people living with neurological conditions, like Parkinson's Disease and Multiple Sclerosis and those who have suffered a stroke or head injury, to receive the long term professional support they need to maintain independence, manage their condition and achieve the best possible quality of life for them and their carers. People with these incurable, deteriorating conditions often have to live with pain, increasing difficulty with moving around, have problems with everyday activities such as dressing, cooking and eating as well as communication and psychological problems which make socialising difficult. INS offers these people regular, long term, professional support to help them learn how to manage their condition, improve their self-confidence, maintain their independence and live life to the full in their communty. INS also provides advice and support for their family carers. INS currently works across West London but has ambitions to expand regionally and, eventually, nationally.
