Mission statement
Working with the community of the Isle of Wight to encourage wise use of the World's limited resources. Promoting energy and water efficiency, reduction of waste, enhancing natural habitats, practical action to improve the environment.
We run a number of practical projects that involve the wider community....
Adopt-A-Garden matched elderly people who can no longer tend their gardens with younger people who have no garden. They grow and share the produce.
Our Cemetery Wardens care for churchyards and cemeteries - looking after habitats and heritage. Energetic helps people in fuel poverty make ends meet through free insulation of their homes and tailored guidance. We deliver workshops to schools to highlight water issues and help schools improve their grounds for wildlife and outdoor learning.
We receive no direct funding from the local council and relay on grants and donations to continue our work. -
