Charity information

Norfolk & Norwich Association for the Blind

Providing accommodation, care, education, activities and equipment to local adults & children in Norfolk with sight loss. We help them to remain independent in their own homes while leading a full and active life.

Founded 1805

  • Mission statement

The NNAB is a self-funding charity, which was founded in 1805 and is the fifth oldest voluntary blind society in England. We receive no state funding, so rely solely on the generosity of others.

We provide full time accommodation, care, education, equipment, recreational facilities and a community home visiting services to the children & adults who are losing their sight. As well as providing emotional support and training to the families who are dealing with the impact of sight loss in their family.

At current there are over 20,000 people in Norfolk with sight problems. So all support given, is greatly appreciated and valuable to continue our services. Thank you!

  • Aims

Norfolk & Norwich Association for the Blind aims to:

    • To raise as much money as possible to help over 20,000 adults & children living with sight loss in Norfolk. All donations will be used to continue our services & to reach those that need our help.
