NVF is a London based small grassroots organisation working in partnership with Nepalese groups to improve the wellbeing of poor and Dalits by enabling access to education and learning.

  • Mission statement

    Nepal Village Foundation exists to improve the wellbeing of poor and Dalits people in rural villages of Nepal by enabling access to education and learning.

    We support girl's education project- there is ample evidence to suggest that an educated mother ensures that her children will get an education regardless of gender, brings up healthier babies, has better family planning and they also participate in income generating activities and community social activities.

  • Aims

    Nepal Village Foundation (UK) aims to:

    • Empowerment of rural women through education and capacity development trainings so that they can participate in communities activities to identify and manage their needs
    • The advancement of girl's education through scholarship scheme and raising awareness about importance of girl's education.
    • Raise awareness to eliminate the culture of dowry in Nepal.
