WHEAT Mentor Support Trust was set up in 1996 in sightly different name and was restructured in 2004 under the current name. It provides one-to-ne mentoring support to refugees and migrants.

    Changing the lives of refugees and migrants (adults and children alike) by enabling them to achieve their goals and aspirations through one-to-one mentoring support.

    WHEAT Mentor Support Trust provide a one-to-one support to refugees and migrants with: Welfare needs, Health needs, Employment needs, Access to further / higher education needs and Training for life skills needs (in short WHEAT needs). For their children WHEAT MST runs actities such as sports, dance, art, gardening and farm trips.

    WHEAT Mentor Support Trust aims to:

    • To assist other agencies setting up their own mentoring schemes in a bid to cascade the best practice of mentoring across the board.
    • To support refugees, migrants and other vulnerable groups of a society through in their welfare, health, employment, access to futher/higher education and training needs.
