Charity information

Steps2Recovery is an abstinence-based charity, helping ex-offenders coming out from short stay prison sentences to turn their lives around.

Founded 2010

  • Mission statement

"Breaking the chain of addiction and re-offending in the community, creating a safer environment for all. "

We are a group of people with backgrounds in finance, law, the criminal justice and drug and alcohol treatment systems.

Our charity aims to break the chain of addiction and re-offending by helping ex-offenders integrate back into society. Working in partnership with a social housing charity, we offer an abstinence-based programme for those who want to recover from addiction and help them understand the patterns of behaviour that can lead back to re-offending. This is a new but well-researched programme and we have a number of experienced professionals working with our clients. Our aim is to give them the tools and holistic support they need to make the choices that give them dignity, opportunity and the ability to live a drug and alcohol free life.

  • Aims

    Steps2Recovery aims to:

    • To reduce the incidence of addiction-related repeat offending
