Action for the River Kennet

The River Kennet is one of England's finest chalk streams, but it is under pressure from abstraction, pollution and population growth. We aim to ensure the survival of the river's distinct chalkstream ecosystem through a combination of direct work on the river, and education and outreach to the community. We run habitat restoration projects, practical volunteering work, classroom education, field studies and open days.
