  • Mission statement

Peaceful Place is a registered charity dedicated to the needs of people below the age of 65 living with dementia. Established in 1996 we provide recreational day care facilities for younger adults with this debilitating disease. We also provide respite, support and information for their carers and families. Our centre is open five days a week and currently provides over 2,500 day care places per year and regular periods of respite for carers and families to enjoy a short-term break from the emotional and physical strain of their caring role.

  • Aims

The Peaceful Place Limited aims to:

    • We are in the process of building two purpose-built dementia friendly supported-living homes for people with young onset dementia for when remaining at home is no longer an option.
    • we run a day centre five days a week offering mentally, physically and socially-stimulating activities, giving people something to get up for in the morning, and something meaningful to do.
