Charity information

Bradford City Football Club Community Foundation

We are a self-funded charity and our main aim is to promote the improvement of health and wellbeing of the local community through the medium of football and multisports. We aim to encourage more people of all ages, race, gender and ability to play football and multisports whilst educating them in the areas of health and fitness. We work in schools, as well as with people and groups in local the community.

In addition to the above, we currently have 3 disability football clubs and are working with homeless groups, looked-after/foster cared children, have hosted a heritage project and have been heavily involved in raising monies for the Bradford Burns Unit Appeal in conjunction with the 25th anniversary of the Bradford City FC fire. We have links with Holland and Germany and have competed in a disability football tournament with teams from these countries earlier this year, and we are currently looking to extend our links to Nigeria.
