Based in the South Hams of Devon, we're passionate about making a difference to young people, aged 11-24. Our innovative projects and programmes are designed around meeting real local need.
Our aim is to provide a collaborative response to the needs of young people, aged 11-25 years, experiencing the effects of rural isolation, economic deprivation or social exclusion living within the area of Kingsbridge and the surrounding Parish's of the South Hams, and to meet these and other needs through these aims:
~ To promote social and economic inclusion for all young people, by providing enjoyable and stimulating environments in which they can interact
~ To provide opportunities for young people to explore issues that effect them and to support and challenge them as they formulate their own values, attitudes and beliefs
~ To demonstrate, promote and encourage Christian values including, dignity, respect and empowerment by developing friendships built on the foundation of trusting relationships and positive role models.
~ To respond practically to the needs of young people affected by the causes and effects of social exclusion or other life controlling issues, through our own initiatives, partnerships with other agencies, statutory bodies and others.
SPIRITULIZED aims to:
- To relieve poverty & sickness demonstrating the Christian faith by promoting overseas service, education, practical action & working with those affected, either directly or through relevant agencies
- To advance the Christian faith for the benefit of young people
- To demonstrate, promote and encourage Christian values, including Dignity, Empowerment and Partnership
- The advancement of the education of young people to develop their physical, mental & spiritual capacities, that they may grow to full maturity as individuals & their condition of life may be improved
