(LCiL) was established in 1991 as a user-controlled membership organisation providing a range of practical and accessible services to support disabled people exercise choice and to take control of their lives and live independently in the community including:

providing support and one to one advice

a disability information service offering free, confidential information and advice on a diversity of issues.

Counselling support

Each year more than 2000 disabled people and their families regularly access our services in order to improve their personal circumstances at home, in work or education and as part of the wider society.
