Slough Islamic Trust

The principal objects of the Charity are:

1. The advancement of the faith and religious practices of Islam,
2. The advancement of education for the public benefit concerning the teachings and religion of Islam,
3. The relief of poverty, sickness, distress and suffering of any person who are in need irrespective of their nationality, race, ethnic origin and religious beliefs throughout the world and particularly in the county of Berkshire.

The Charity has two mosques in Slough as places of worship, cultural and education centres. The Charity also rents out a hall used for the provision of education for children.

In its latest fund raising campaign, the Charity is actively seeking donations for Pakistan’s flood victims and will continue to do so for an extended period. As of 17/09/2010 we have raised over £83,000 just through local collections in the area of Slough. We sincerely appreciate your support in allowing us to help the needy in such difficult times.
