INDOX Cancer Research Network (University of Oxford)

Established in 2005 as a partnership between the Institute of Cancer Medicine at the University of Oxford and India's top 10 comprehensive cancer centres, INDOX’s aim is to conduct high quality research that will help to reduce death and suffering from cancer in India.

We are particularly interested in investigating the causes of cancer in Indian patients and how cancer can be prevented and treated cost effectively in India.

Over the next five years, INDOX would like to conduct research into areas that are of the greatest need in India, but which are not currently being addressed. INDOX also plans to conduct research into the impact of heart disease, diabetes, stroke and certain cancers on the British Asian population. However, to turn this vision into a reality, we need to raise additional funding to support this vital research.

The INDOX Cancer Research Network brings together many of the world's leading cancer scientists – from the UK and India - in a unique global resource to conduct research into the treatment and prevention of cancer.
