  • Mission statement

    Miscarriage can be a very unhappy, frightening and lonely experience. The Miscarriage Association acknowledges the distress associated with pregnancy loss and strives to make a positive difference for those it affects through:

    - a national helpline
    - a UK-wide network of support volunteers
    - a range of excellent leaflets
    - involvement in high-quality research
    - training for health professionals
    - work with the media to raise awareness of the facts and feelings of pregnancy loss

  • Aims

    The Miscarriage Association aims to:

    • To ensure that anyone affected by miscarriage, ectopic or molar pregnancy is able to access the support and information that they need to help them through.
    • To increase medical and scientific understanding of miscarriage, its causes, treatment and prevention, through promotion and support of high quality clinical research
    • To ensure the highest quality of care for miscarriage patients in hospital and community-based settings.
