Hope UK

Hope UK enables children and young people to make drug-free choices by training volunteers to become Drug Educators in their own communities.

Founded 1847

  • Mission statement

To enable young people to make drug-free choices.

To train voluntary Drug Educators throughout the UK with a 120-hour Open College Network accredited course to work with children and young people in their communities. Educators also provide drug awareness and training sessions for those who have responsibility for young people (eg, parents, youth workers), equipping them to enable the young people in their care to make drug-free choices.

  • Aims

    Hope UK aims to:

    • To give children and young people the knowledge and lifeskills they need to make drug and alcohol-free choices.
    • To help children and young people make healthy lifestyle choices and achieve their potential.
