Harrow Shopmobility

Harrow Shopmobility loans out manual and electric wheelchairs and scooters to people with physical disabilities for day loan to use within Harrow Town Centre free of charge. This enables anyone with a disability to access the Borough of Harrow for shopping or any other activity normally available to non-disabled people.
Manual wheelchairs are also loaned out on a fortnightly basis according to need at a nominal fee.

    Harrow Shopmobility established in March 1994, is a registered charity with the dedicated objective of promoting the welfare and independence of any person with a sensory or physical disability, whether permanent or temporary, due to disability, age, accident, illness or convalescence.

    The service will be provided in a safe, reliable and friendly manner with priorities always being given to the needs of the Users

    Harrow Shopmobility aims to:

    • To enable people with disabilities to lead independent and self sufficient lives.
    • To enable people with disabilities to access health educational, work and social facilities.
    • To promote the integration of those with disabilities into mainstream society and remove discrimination against them.
