Charity information

Lifeskills is an interactive safety education centre, built as a realistic village. It aims to makes the learning experience more memorable by using fun and interactive methods to teach groups how to assess risks and cope with potentially difficult or dangerous situations. There are ten lifelike scenarios in the Centre including a road, a shop, houses, a railway and a farm, each of which is designed to illustrate a particular hazard. The scenarios are currently used to run programmes for year 6 primary school children, adults with learning difficulties and older people, all of which aim to show that you should be taking personal responsibility for your own safety.
