Royal Fusilier Museum Trust

The Royal Fusilier Museum was opened in 1962 and its mission is to collect, preserve and interpret objects, documents and photgraphs related to The Royal Fusilers. Now, nearly 50 years later, it is to be refurbished and provided with new showcases and interpretation, making it worthy of its place in the Tower of London. T

he development project is called Fusiliers Advance! The project will also fund the employment of a new member of staff to develop a volunteer team as well as manage a programme of activities and events, including an actor in the character of a Victorian Fusilier. These new activities are designed to offer deeper levels of learning and participation, and together they will attract new audiences as well as repeat visitors, open links with the local community, and most importantly, bring the Regiment's heritage to life.
