Ulster Youth Choir
Ulster Youth Choir was established in 1999 to provide the best of Northern Ireland’s young singers aged 14-24 with the opportunity to sing together to the highest possible standards receiving training from some of the best choral and vocal practitioners from throughout the UK and Ireland and is now regarded as one of Northern Ireland’s leading artistic and educational organisations.

Mission statement
• To provide a unique, high quality musical and educational experience.
• To maintain and improve the high choral standards of the Ulster Youth Choir.
• To ensure that the Ulster Youth Choir is an exciting organisation which young people aspire to join and which will enhance their choral and social development.
• To maintain Ulster Youth Choir's position at the forefront of choral development for young people in Northern Ireland.
• To improve public awareness of the Ulster Youth Choir and in particular raise the profile amongst young people who have a singing talent.
• To develop effective partnerships with other appropriate organisations.
• To broaden access and improve standards by expanding current provision and exploring innovative ideas. -

- To establish a UYC Junior Choir in 2017 for 11-14 year olds.
