Manchester International Arts has been working for 20 years to produce inspiring free outdoor arts events around the country, particularly in Manchester and the wider Northwest.

Mission statement
To present top class international outdoor acts and artists from the many communities now resident in the U. K. In festivals and other events that are accessible to the largest and widest numbers of people.
Manchester International Arts works in partnership with Kendal Arts International to present Lakes Alive, a programme of outdoor festivals and events across the spectacular landscapes of Cumbria, the Lake District. -
Aims
Manchester International Arts aims to:
- TO PROMOTE, MAINTAIN, IMPROVE AND ADVANCE EDUCATION BY THE ENCOURAGEMENT OF THE ARTS WITH PARTICULAR REFERENCE TO PERFORMANCE, VISUAL AND SOCIAL ARTS INVOLVING DIFFERENT CULTURES AND COUNTRIES AND TO THE PROMOTION OF ARTISTIC OBJECTS OF INTERNATIONAL INTEREST CONDUCIVE TO THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION.
