StAnza delivers an annual international poetry festival plus events, and educational and digital projects throughout the year.

  • Mission statement

    The Objects for which the Organisation is established are to advance the education of the public by the promotion and advancement of Scottish and other cultures. In furtherance thereof, but not otherwise the Organisation shall seek to
    (1) promote, organise and run an annual festival of poetry;
    (2) initiate events, projects, programmes and the like for the promotion and advancement of Scottish and/or other cultures and in particular of poetry in Scotland and elsewhere;
    (3) facilitate of events, projects, programmes and the like for the promotion and advancement of poetry in the community and in particular to children of all ages.

    StAnza, Scotland's International Poetry Festival aims to:

    • To celebrate poetry and excellence in poetry
    • To initiate events, projects, programmes and the like for the promotion and advancement of Scottish and/or other cultures and in particular of poetry in Scotland and elsewhere;
    • To facilitate of events, projects, programmes and the like for the promotion and advancement of poetry in the community and in particular to children of all ages.
