  • Mission statement

The Spring of 2017 sees the opening of the hugely anticipated Storyhouse; a place where inspiring ideas come to life. We will be encouraging people to curate their own content, share their own stories, challenge preconceptions and enter a new world where creativity is encouraged and nurtured. Storyhouse is about much more than bricks and mortar; at its heart it is giving the people of Chester and its visitors a place that will provide inspiration, enjoyment and opportunities to learn.

We aim to promote the development of performing arts in the region and strive to nurture young talent, create opportunities in the cultural sector and bring a lifetime of enjoyment through the arts.

At the heart of Storyhouse’s vision is fostering the emergence of vibrant communities in Cheshire, providing creative tools that enable us to discuss and tackle social questions and to provide access to content which will nurture life skills.
