Weekly held Self Funded Voluntary Club for adults with a learning disability.

We aim to do lots of acctivities that the 30+ members dont normally manage to do.

The club is held in a deprived area.

  • Mission statement

    A weekly club for adults with learning dissabilities, held each monday evening 7pm-9pm. A voluntary self funded group, we are always trying diffrent ventures this year we are taking 13 members to Wales for a 5-day break away from home. Each year the members get the chance to go on a Venture Scout Camp for a long weekend camping.
    I have recently been awarded volunteer of the year runner-up for my commitment to the club. For two years running!
    The one thing we really need is a minibus to help raise some funds towards this 5 volunteers have just completed a sponsored solo sky dive.

    The Warley Gateway Club aims to:

    • We aim to give our 30+ members a better quality of life, With government cuts most of there day places have closed. Our aim is to keep the Our Club Open. For some its the only outing in there week
