  • Mission statement

FACT, the Foundation for Art and Creative Technology is the UK's leading organisation for the commissioning and presentation of film, video and new media art forms. Based in Liverpool city centre, FACT is a centre for culture and learning that is accessible to all and a registered charity (no. 702781).
FACT believes in the ability of individuals and communities to express themselves creatively and in the value of seeing themselves reflected in the world around them. FACT is therefore an organisation that incubates and supports creativity, engaging a wide range of artists and others in the development of new and emerging media forms.
FACT seeks to reach all ages and cultures throughout the programming and management policies across the entire organization; this extends to its far-reaching education projects and its flagship community engagement programme - tenantspin.

A major objective of the tenantspin programme is to equip participants with the tools with which to express and develop themselves as individuals. The terms of engagement are dependant on individual expectations.
