  • Mission statement

Babylon ARTS - putting arts, culture and entertainment at the heart of everyday life.

We run Ely's leading micro arts centre, Babylon Gallery and Ely Cinema. We also deliver arts programmes, events and projects that engage audiences across East Cambridgeshire, Fenland and Forest Heath.

We believe the arts offer opportunities to understand ourselves better and our place in society; enhances our sense of well-being, confidence and self-esteem.

Our mission is to enable a vibrant and inclusive arts environment for everyone: artist, participants and audiences. We support local access to high quality arts, and also work through the arts to meet specific community needs, including work with young people.

We believe the work we do makes the area a better place to live.
