Horsecross Arts Ltd
Horsecross Arts Ltd
The award-winning enterprise managing Perth Theatre and Perth Concert Hall; two wonderful venues - one historic with a classic proscenium arch, the other state of the art with acclaimed acoustics.
It’s the people that really make Horsecross. Together we deliver a broad, adventurous cultural programme of drama, music, dance, literature and film by world-class artists. We are also home to Threshold Artspace, a leading commissioning agency for contemporary art.
All of this runs alongside the year-round inspirational community, education and outreach programme delivered by our committed Creative Learning team. Furthermore, as one of Scotland’s key conference and event destinations, Perth Concert Hall garners mass media attention that further helps shine the spotlight on Perth as a great place to live, work, invest and visit.
More than 400,000 people pass through our doors every year providing a real cultural, social and economic boost for the city.
Over the past 10 years a significant development and success story has been the expansion of our dynamic Creative Learning programme which uses the arts as a gateway to broaden horizons and develop new life skills and interests in young people and adults, including those who are hard to reach and vulnerable.
Each year we work hard to raise funds to work with more than 20,000 individuals from schools, adult resource centres, community groups, sheltered housing providers, higher education establishments and hospitals.
We are expert at developing collaborative, imaginative creative partnerships between schools, community partners and artists. We make a huge difference to so many people’s lives.
