  • Mission statement

Families Need Fathers is a charity providing support and information to families who are separating. Our aim is to ensure that children and parents remain in contact after separation and that no child is denied a relationship with either for no good reason. We aim to help those in crisis move forward with child-centred solutions to parenting arrangements.

FNF provides emotional, practical and legal support through its
    National helpline,
    50 nationwide branches,
Workshops on a wide range of issues,
    Website offering information and guidance,
    Fact sheets and publications.

Support is also offered face-to-face through a network of 300 volunteers.

FNF also lobbies for change to ensure that policy and practice is supportive of shared parenting and works with family support professionals to break down the barriers to engaging both parents.

  • Aims
