Oakmere Community College

Oakmere Community College is a registered charity supporting vulnerable and disadvantaged young people aged 13-19 in Merseyside who are NEET - Not Engaged in Employment, Education, Training with a holistic, wrap around package of services to reduce social exclusion and barriers to progression into education, jobs or apprenticeships. We help them to get on in life.

Established 30 years ago, we operate an open door policy, with no minimum entry requirements. We provide personalised support, quality learning, vocational qualifications and positive, engaging activities to young people from a variety of backgrounds including:

Young Offenders
Young Parents (Mums/Dads)
Young people with emotional/behavioural issues
Young people with drug/alcohol dependency
Young Care Leavers
Homeless/Independent Living
Young people living in poverty
Young Asylum Seekers
Young BME Community
Young Carers
School drop-outs/excluded young people
