Mission statement
We want to create event and offer experiences that can profoundly change people's lives, create relevant, innovative and emotionally charged work, build a non-elite audience and celebrate our delicious time on the planet.
Our productions attract popular success and critical acclaim and have recently included 'Brief Encounter' on Broadway, 'Hansel & Gretel' at the Southbank Centre, 'The Red Shoes' national and international tour and 'The Umbrellas of Cherbourg' in London’s West End.
In 2010, we launched our glorious theatre tent, the Asylum. The 2011 season included two brand-new, made-in-Cornwall shows – 'Midnight’s Pumpkin' and 'The Wild Bride' (currently on a national and international tour).
Kneehigh was recently named “the best UK touring theatre company” by The Times and The Telegraph. -
