We have been at the forefront of advances in cancer research for the last 100 years – driving forward the development of chemotherapy, radiotherapy, surgery and most recently new revolutionary biological therapies through personalised medicine and immunotherapy.

    In the 1970s, just 1 in 4 people in the UK survived cancer. Today, thanks to the power of research, that figure has doubled to 2 in 4. Our ambition is to continue to accelerate this progress and see 3 in 4 people survive cancer within the next 20 years.
