Kangaroos provides a wide range of recreational, social and skills based activities for children and young adults with learning disabilities, based in Mid Sussex.

  • Mission statement

    Kangaroos’ vision is that disabled young people can exercise their right to leisure, play and recreational activity.

    Kangaroos’ values are:

    --‐ to nurture independence, self-confidence and social skills of its members.

    --‐ to treat members as individuals and involve them and their parent carers in the development of Kangaroos services.

    --‐ to develop skilled staff and volunteers to ensure a safe, stimulating environment for Kangaroos members.

    --‐ to engage families in feeling supported and less isolated.
